U.S. Rep. Al Lawson To Host Community Town Hall Meeting in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE – U.S. Rep. Al Lawson (FL-05) will hold a town hall meeting on Tuesday, May 29, at Florida State College at Jacksonville, to update citizens on his work in Congress. The meeting will also give constituents an opportunity to share their opinions and have the Congressman answer questions about federal issues. Rep. Lawson will discuss issues such as food insecurity, gun control, affordable healthcare, disaster relief and recent legislation he has introduced.

Representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Small Business Administration, ElderSource, Farm Share, Wealth Watchers and ARRP will also be on hand to answer additional questions about the services they provide in the local community.
