WASHINGTON DC – Small businesses are the cornerstone to every community. This week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed two pieces of legislation co-sponsored by Rep. Al Lawson (FL-05) that will level the playing field for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Congressman Al Lawson (FL-05) announced Stanton College Preparatory School freshman Jaylen Thomas as the grand prize winner of Florida’s Fifth Congressional District Art Competition. Thomas’ winning artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol along with first-place winners from congressional districts across the country.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – U.S. Rep Al Lawson (FL-05) is proud to announce that Sacred Heart Home School senior Alexander Sobeski has received an offer of appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Sobeski was Rep. Lawson’s nominee for the military academy.
