WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Rep. Al Lawson (FL-5) introduced the Veterans Jobs Opportunity Act to give a boost to veterans who invest in their communities through entrepreneurship.
WASHINGTON - On Thursday, July 13, U.S. Reps. Al Lawson and John Rutherford are hosting a Veterans Mental Health Briefing at 2 pm in Cannon 421. Presenting at the briefing will be the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as a panel of speakers:

“Just like the House bill, the Senate health care bill is heartless and reckless. This is what we get when we have a 13-member group, made up only of male Senate Republicans, develop a plan in secret. We should be making it easier for more hardworking Americans to access affordable health care, not be giving tax breaks to the wealthy.
